The carpet for your wedding venue is an important consideration in the overall decoration scheme. It's important to choose your wedding venue far enough in advance that you can coordinate all of the wedding colors with the venue carpet. If you own the wedding venue or have considerable influence over the flooring, then you can organize in advance to have Empire carpet installed that is color coordinated with your wedding theme. Professional installers like Empire Today can have this installed for you quickly and hassle free.
The other option is to revise your original wedding color scheme to match with the colors of the venue you want to book. If you are booking a wedding package at a given venue, you'll also want to consider carefully which decorations come with the package. Many venues will include basics like tablecloths and basic china in their reception packages, and working with these included accessories can help you save money.

A Saudi jewelry designer has won international recognition for her innovative jewelry design using diamonds. Lina Muhammad Abdullah Al-Khiraiji has topped a short list of 15 women who were selected from over 300 entries to an international competition at the Saudi International Exhibition for Diamonds.
The judging was conducted by a panel of experts in the field of diamonds from Switzerland, Britain and Saudi Arabia. Al-Khiraiji was a student of diamond design at a British college. She said she was thrilled to achieve such a high level in one of the finest arts in the world, and that the ideas for her winning design themes are deeply rooted in her Islamic heritage. For example, Al-Khiraiji designed a bracelet in the form of the octagonal star, which is a common motif in Islamic decorations in mosques and other places of worship.

Prince William caused a stir in the US media by choosing not to wear a wedding band, but this shouldn't be so surprising for those with a better knowledge of history and culture. British men often eschew wedding bands today, and American men have only worn them commonly for the last 70 years. Once married, American men and women sometimes stop wearing their rings too, sometimes for purely practical reasons. Looking back at the history of wedding bands, they have largely been a ladies-only proposition.
It basically took World War II to kick of the double-ring tradition in the US as part of a "new cult of marriage" popular at the time. The shift was also conditioned by changing gender roles, and symbolized a new form of domestic masculinity and feeling of shared bonds and togetherness as a household unit.
